An interesting nights sleep on the wooden floor. There was lots of sounds, crickets, dogs, roosters, snoring and some local music. Thank god for earplugs! Today was another early start as we headed off for a half day trip to Cu Chi tunnels, about and hour and a half from HCMC. Our guide, Gem (finally, a girl!) first took us to a local village to show us some crops growing including peanuts and bitter melon, the latter apparently stops you getting cancer. We headed off to the airport early this morning to get our flight to HCMC. The weather was cool in Hoi An and would be completely opposite to our destination! We arrived early afternoon and headed to our hotel. It was really warm and a little humid at 35deg. Our hotel is okay, simple and clean.
