We had an early morning start this morning as we had to catch a plane to Edinburgh. So we were up at 6am and down having breakfast at 6.30am. We made sure we had a heap to eat at breakfast as we weren't sure when we were going to be able to have lunch, remember it is all about the food. :)
We got picked up by a taxi as 7.45am, he was a really cool old Polish guy as he took us through the city. He truned into a bit of a tour guide, it was awesome. He then received a phone call from the hotel, yes Melissa had left something behind. It was a bag with some food in it and what I also thought our tickets for the plane so we had to go back for it. The Polish guy thought it was a great joke. Well turns out the tickets where not in the bag so we could have just left it. Whoops I didn't tell the driver that.
Our Taxi driver sped all the way to the airport so we were at the airport early but time went fast which was good. The flight from Krakow to Edniburgh was about 2.5 Hours.
We arrived in Edniburgh to see our good friend's Graham and Alison standing there to greet us, it was so cool to see them standing there. We hadn't seen Graham for about 5 years so it was awesome, it was like we have never been apart.
We headed into Edinburgh town and had a pub lunch which was really good. Eddie got to have his Tennants Beer which he was really pleased about.
It felt weird being back in Scotland, the weather which greeted us was cold and raining. :( A bit of a shock to the system.
After lunch we headed to the Edinburgh Zoo to see the Gaint Pandas. They were really cool, I loved seeing them. Beautiful creatures.
We then walked around the Zoo in the freezing cold and rain, I felt like I was trapped in the Zoo, it took forever to get out. But it was really good and especailly good to be hanging out with Graham and Alison, it was worth a bit of cold.
Graham then drove us home to his and Alison's place in Glasgow which is about an hour away. They have a really lovely two bedroom flat, it is really nice and in a really good area.
We then had Pizza for tea. The boys went off to get it and us girls stayed behind chatting, it was really good.
I just hope the weather is better tomorrow.
