Today we left the house around 9am to catch the train to Edinburgh for the day.
Another lovely day, the sunsine is out. Once in Edinburgh we walked along the Royal Mile. First stop was the Greyfairs Bobby statue. This is for the wee dog that used to sit by his masters grave everyday until the dog died.
We then found a really nice restaurant/Bar. We spent about an hour and half sitting in the window eating and drinking. I had Haggis, Neeps and tatties Eddie had black pudding starter and a wild boar burger. It was yummy, we could have sat there all day.
We then had a look at the Edinburgh castle, we didn't go in as we had seen it many times before. Just looked around outside.
We then headed on our way down to the train station. We both loved being in Edinburgh. When we used to go through to Edinburgh while we where living in Glasgow it always cheered us up as Edinburgh is a lot nicer than Glasgow. Its a nice place to go and chill out.
When Graham and Alison arrived home we headed out to Pollock (a suburb in Glasgow) to see James and Rachel. We met there children Bronwyn and Jay. It was great to meet them. We said our goodbyes which was really sad.
We then headed to the Guns and Roses concert, we were a bit worried about it as they have been getting bad reviews but it turned out really good. We both really enjoyed it.
The concert finished around 1am it was a long one.
Stopped in at a nice restaurant ( McDonalds ) on the way home then home to bed.
