Day 63 Fruit Picking - So today all the pickers had the day off, and I went in to work in the shed all day packing. It just reinforced its nice to have a change, but I couldn't have done that all season. Although today I did find out useful bits and pieces about when I go road trip'in which was good. Day 62 Fruit Picking - Today was a much less eventful day at work than yesterday. There are now only 3 packers and 5 pickers, so everyone has a higher work load to try and cover. Miraculously 'us' pickers managed to finish picking all the patches we are still working on this afternoon, allowing Greg to use his plan of not picking tomorrow to try and get the packers to catch up. Day 61 Fruit Picking - Back to work again today after yesterday's token day off. This morning I woke up just before 7am despite it being a Sunday, my body clock just wakes me up early all the time. I rolled out of bed and quickly had breakfast, before going down to Currimundi for a surf. When I got there it was a slightly messed up/choppy swell, but breaking alright about 2/3ft max. Day 60 Fruit Picking - Well it's Saturday, and for the second week in a row I went into work for the morning. It actually went very quickly, which was brilliant. All in all this week we still didn't manage to pick the whole farm twice, but in the end you can only do as much as you can do, with the number of workers available.
