I worked a long day today, 10 hours with a 20 minute lunch break. We were packing boxes and moving furniture into a van to go into storage. Mark is leaving for Tulsa in a week, so he is trying to get a lot done before he goes. It was a lot of work. Afterwards Mark and Lawry bought me dinner tonight at this organic deli close to Diorama.

Today I went to Sir John Soanes house. He was an architect and collected art and turned his house into a very interesting place. He paid attention to every detail in his home. There were several skylights and all of the ceilings were unique and beautiful. He basically bought a few houses together and knocked every wall out and remade everything. He also had lots of interesting sculpture everywhere and some good art, he even had an Egyptian marble coffin. There were books everywhere, nearly every room was a library. And they kept most of the rooms like he had them, which was neat. But the thing that I thought was the most interesting was this small art room. You walk in and shut the door and all four walls are wood paneling with large paintings. Well you can open two of the walls up and there are paintings behind it and on the opposite side of the wall that you just opened. Then you can open it again and the same thing on one wall, three double layers of art. But the other wall opens to a window display like area of sculpture and art in front of a frosted window so its all lit up. It was weird and neat.

Today I had planned on going to the Sunday markets, but when I woke up I realized that it had snowed about three or four inches and went back to bed. I figured that not that many people would be out in the snow. I just did some shopping around the neighborhood and stopped to sit in the church park for while. I thought getting on a bus might not be worth it because it would take so long to get anywhere.

Today I went to the Museum of London. Half of it was closed, but it was decent. One part was about the prehistoric people who lived in the London area. There were tons of pots and arrowheads. There was an area about the great fire, which was kind of interesting. Then also, one section was about Bath which I found less interesting because I have been to the Roman Baths in Bath. So I don't need to look at models and recreations of things they found there. It wasn't the best museum that I have been to here, but it was free, so I am not complaining. Plus I have already seen so much in London, I am getting towards the end of the list of things I want to see, so I am just going to whatever people suggest or places I skipped over the first time. So its great that I have really seen almost everything that I want to.

I worked all day today with Mark, Nisa, Phil, and these other two guys Desmond and David. We moved a lot of stuff and boxed things up and bubble wrapped. Phil and I took several trips to the crypt. Desmond was telling me how he got through college by being a street artist. Everytime he had a couple of hours free he would go out and work on a big painting on canvas. He said if he worked 8 hours he would make about 500 pounds just people dropping coins in his pan.
Lawry cooked dinner for CR, Phil and his girlfriend, Nisa, me and, the woman who cleaned Diorama everyday, Lejla as a company party. They are leaving in a few days so they wanted to have us all over and say bye to everyone. Lawry is really nice and a great cook!

Phil, Nisa, Mark, and I cleaned out more rooms in Diorama and Mark's office. His office is so messy! We are just packing and moving. There is so much stuff in a big business. Tuesday through Friday I worked 10 hours with a 20 minute lunch break everyday, and doing manual labor at that. By the end of the week I was so tired.

The good part of the day was that Anna, Nisa's friend, called and wanted to give her two tickets to Avenue Q because she didn't feel well enough to go. Nisa is also sick and exhausted from this week, so she gave them to me and I gave one to CR. I was so glad to get them, I couldn't believe I got free tickets to Avenue Q! I have wanted to see that show since I got here. They were about $70 a piece I think, and we got on the 4th row. I was so happy about it. The show was fantastic, it was so funny the entire way through. CR liked it a lot as well, she was really glad I called her and gave her the other ticket.
