St. Pauls Cathedral
For those of you wondering what it is I am doing here in London, Diorama is a building that rents out rooms for other arts events, such as actor castings, yoga, tai chi, and other physical therapy, choir practices, play practice, the raindance film festival studio, etc, and also helps and works with certain ones. Diorama is hosting and advertising the KODO performance that is coming up, along with many other things. Their building is being torn down in a month or two but they are moving to one that is in the process of being built just around the corner.
Ive worked two partial days this week. It is a busy place, but I really like it a lot. The people who work in the office with me are nice. One girl is from Tulsa (not TU) and here going to grad school.
Today I went to the BUNAC office to get my blue card stamped so I wouldnt get deported. St. Pauls is about a mile away from their office so I thought I would check that out. It took me about an hour to find it though. All of the streets are winding and there are so many people and cars everywhere, its confusing when you dont know where you are going. It was really beautiful, and Ill probably go to mass there sometime soon, so I dont have to pay the $15 to get in again.
So far I like London. A lot. I am glad to be here. And once I learn my directions I think I will like it even more.
