Tate Modern
I got up this morning and went over to Tate Modern. To get there you have to cross this millennium bridge. Tate is about two blocks from the Globe Theatre. It said in May they have plays so I will try to go to that because I really like Shakespearean plays, and that would probably be the best place in the world to see it. The Tate was really big, and you could spend days in it. And had this giant statue of a spider in front. I saw about 10 Picassos, a couple of Pollocks, a Monet, a Matisse, and some Riveras, among other things. Not bad really for one day.
Gill cooked a pudding desert and let me have some. It was really good and ive never had anything like it before. She called it plum tart pudding.
Gill's cousin is here from Switzerland. He speaks German natively, so he has this really great accent. He says all of these really funny things, and I cant tell if he has a great sense of humor or if the things he says are just so different from what I'm used to. For example he was going on and on about how absurd the word "pudding" was. And how ridiculous it sounds to him. "What is the word pudding? Who would say such a word? I mean just the sound of it. Pudding. So absurd this pudding." Anyway I like him. Everything he says is like this.
