British Museum
This Sunday I went with Lawry and Mark to the markets. We went to a very nice flower market on the streets. Then we went to Spitalfield which is a market area with shops. Then we went over to Liverpool street, which is a nicer version of it. I will go back and do some shopping again here soon.
Tuesday morning I went to the British Museum. It was nice, and it was really huge. I probably ran through half of it in two and a half hours. I mostly saw Egyptian and Roman stuff. Lots of statues and remains. There is an exhibition of the Chinese terracotta army, but I didnt go in it this time. There is also this courtyard in the middle of the museum that is solid glass on top.
At 4:30 the deli on the corner closes, so sometimes someone goes over there and tells them we are a charitable organization and asks if there is anything they are going to throw out, if so can we have it. CR has never been able to get free stuff, and I thought it would be an easy job so I said I would go do it. They ended up giving me 4 sandwiches, a salad, a plate of sushi, a cinnamon roll, five muffins and about 8 or 9 croissants. Then he said do you want a cup of coffee on the house so I took it, then they tried to give me a pot of soup, but I couldn't carry it because of all the other stuff. So from now on my job is to get free food for everyone.
