After leaving Victor Harbour we continued east, crossing the mighty Murray River via car ferry at the little town of Wellington. Our journey was on more of a schedule now, the passing of Lee's uncle meant we had to get to Melbourne for a flight to Merimbula for the funeral.
We took in the coastal sights, making our way through Kingston SE and the lovely town of Robe that we'd heard about, stopping at Mt Gambier for the night. After treating ourselves to a café breakfast we checked out a couple of the town's tourist attractions, Blue Lake (man, is that thing blue - see pic) and the Umpherston Sinkhole (or as Lea calls it, the Umpherston Stinkhole - a touch of dyslexia).
We left the bustling town of Mt Gambier with the 6th and final state in our sights - Victoria was only a stone's throw away, and the Great Ocean Road was calling us.
