We did a mini-tour of Adelaide, visiting Glenelg and Port Adelaide, before arriving at Sue's house and settling in for a big dose of couch time!
We were very bad tourists during our Adelaide stay, and absolutely loved it. There was much sleeping in and watching of cricket and tennis, and of course, chin-wagging. We shared some lovely meals, and a lot of laughs.
On Saturday we thought we'd better go into the city and see some sights, so had lunch in town and went for a bit of a walk. We stumbled upon a wine and music event in the parkland surrounding the city, which was a lovely way to while away the afternoon. Sunday we headed to the hills again and visited a gallery that Lea has been waiting all trip to see. The guy makes all kinds of different instruments in weird and wonderful shapes (including the "crocodilophone" - a xylophone carved in the shape of a croc), and Lea finally got the rain stick that she'd been after for months.
After 5 lovely days with Sue, we managed to prise ourselves off the couch and back into the Navvy, time to hit the road once more.
