Just had a chance to look at your photos and read some of your dairy entries, brought back memories of our travels, the only problem Lee has caught more fish than I did. Continue to enjoy your travels and travel safe, look forward to catching up when you are both in Sydney. My new new Nissen Navara is going great considering I was a Toyota man having driven Hiluxs for all those years.

The town I mentioned below is TEROWIE (221km north of Adelaide). It's a few hundred metres of the main road and worth a look (lots of historic buildings and the (now) derelict railway station made famous in the newsreels of WW2 when Douglass Macarthur was in town). The town had a pop of 2000 and now about 200. There's a plaque on the wall of the rail building (if it hasn't been nicked)

your trivia mates and I want to thank you for the Xmas & new year well wishes.....that you didn't send.
Hope all's well with you both.....did you get to (surfing mecca) Cactus Beach? Hot tip.......the Oodnadatta track (pick up a highl;ights map before you go).....so much to see it's hard to pick the top spot on the track but try the "hot tub" at the restored Coward Springs (?) rail siding and take the side-track to Peak Telegraph Station.
When travelling towards Burra stop off at (I'll get back to you). The town is all but deserted and the railway station is in ruins but this is the spot that Gen. D. McArthur uttered those famous words 'I shall return" in 1942...... Now that's a great piece of trivia

Hi guys, looks like you are both having a great time. happy new year. Well we have grown duck feet now as the rain wil not go away we seem to be not able to go in the spa that Trudie and Brad got for Christmas as it has been raining constantly with only a day if we are lucky. On new years day I said to rob it was time to clean that Sneeky Neeka so 3 hours later she is now 3 inches skinny, she looks so nice and she is so happy to come inside right now she is tryign to get a game out of Rob. Oh yes my tractor mower was stuck in the mud in the backyard for a week before they got it out and the girls could not beleive how slippery it was on the flat I think this is the most rain we have had in 20 years of being in Qld. Oh yes Trudie is 30 on the 5th of Feb and she is going to have a Cocktail party so Rob said that he should get a Cocktail dress, could you think of what the birthday girl would think if he did, boy what a sight that would be.
cheers Cheryl and Rob

Hi guys, happy new year. Back at work now (doh) but not really working as I've just spent the morning getting up to speed on your blog and photos, great work.
Era was good, plenty of sun and beer as usual, surf was up so not much fishing - ie. more beer. Missed you both down there though. Carol's doing fine, she's got a little bump starting to show now but I'm still winning on that front.
