Ants in the campsite again this morning.   Neil and Sharon found ants again and had to clean that up before they went anywhere.   Melanie got up early as she had to organise some photos from a photo shoot that she had done before she left Melbourne.

Went into town to Coles to get some supplies on the way to El Questro.   Down the Gibb River Road.   Once we turned into El Questro, we found that there were constant creek crossing to do. some were just small, but some were about 200 mm deep.   The road in was pretty long and soon we came to the Pentecost River, which you have to cross before you actually reach the homestead area.   It was above the bottom of the car doors and was a bit scary for some of us who were not used to river crossings.

Drove into the 'township' area and then found a campsite and setup.   It was a pretty good campsite.      Joanna found some boab tree nuts and decided that she was going to try to engrave some of them. Went for a walk down to the river and had a look at their restaurant. the river was flowing very fast.  

Terry's turn to cook and we had chilli con carne. 

Great sky with a clear view of the stars tonight and Joanna and Neil thought that they saw the space station going past, reflecting light. Too slow for a plane and it had constant flashes of light.

The girls found lots of green tree frogs when they went to the toilets. Joanna took an instant liking to them and treated them as her friends.
