Today we all arose early and drove (not very far) to Emma Gorge (all piling into Neils car).
Arrived at Emma George about 9.00 am and set off on our walk. The walk was fantastic, difficult rock climbing in places but the scenery unbelievable. The waterfall at the end was amazing to see. Melanie and Joanna took the opportunity to have a dip the water was absolutely freezing. By this time it was really hot and time to return along the same path – well worth doing. Drive back to the campsite had some lunch then Neil, Terry and Melanie ventured into Kununurra to pick up the radiator which was being flown from Darwin and also to get a few supplies ready for our journey on to Fitzroy Crossing on Saturday. Melanie went along so she could ring 1800 Alex as she had not had telephone contact for a couple of days.
Neil, Terry and Melanie arrived back at around 5.30pm, with the now infamous radiator, and then we all got ready and ventured out to dinner at the El Questro restaurant which was very nice.
