Leisurely morning in apartment catching up with photos, washing etc
Headed out about 1pm to explore the streets in the residential area up the hill behind the apartment. Stumbled ACROSS (not into or out of) RadostFX which is one of the top nightclubs in Prague by night and an eclectic bar / cafe by day - had a couple of excellent salads there for lunch
In the morning Virginia had discovered on the Internet a Michelin star degustation restaurant in Prague and we were lucky to get a table for 2 at 7pm
Headed that way about 5pm and stopped for a pre dinner drink on the way at a pub with 32 local microbrewery beers on tap
The restaurant was incredible - wonderful service, relaxed calm atmosphere, open kitchen and amazing food. Czech food with a modern twist and excellent wine pairings. We spent 4 hours immersed in this experience which was as good as I have had anywhere in the world. Not cheap but still only a bit more than half what you would pay for the same thing in Australia or the USA. Have kept the menu and a photo of each dish for the foodies amongst us
Home to bed about midnight
