Rained all day today but we had the perfect solution.
1. Stay in bed and watch the Crows lose to Freo on our iPad
2. Catch the underground to the show grounds for the last day of the annual Czech Beer Festival BUT get umbrellas first and get off at the correct metro stop rather than having to catch a tram back one stop THEN go in the entrance right near the festival tent rather than at the other end of the show grounds and have to walk around in a circle in the rain.
Anyhow we arrived eventually to a tent with seating for 10000 people and every type of Czech beer available in 1 litre jugs along with a massive range of Czech food - still raining outside so we settled in for lunch and too many grogs
Chose a taxi to get back to apartment and driver tried to charge 1159CZ ($60) when it was 159CZ ($8) so we gave him 100CZ ($5) and he drove off - pays to have some idea re the exchange rate
Snack dinner at home tonight and early to bed
Hopefully the rain will ease tomorrow
