Raining this morning but we decided to head off anyhow and walk along Wenceslas Square and into the Old Town. Rain stopped for a while so we enjoyed meandering down the square which has been mainly pedestrianised and has shops of various types up each side. This led into the Old Town Square - the buildings are incredible everywhere you look and of such variety. You can certainly tell Prague was essentially spared in the war.
We followed a self guided walking tour from Frommers guide which was excellent - lots of photos and stops for coffee, wine and lunch.
Started to get very cold late afternoon so back to the apartment before going out for dinner
Dinner at a nearby local neighbourhood Czech restaurant - good food, friendly waiter and very reasonably priced
