A couple exciting bits of news - I got out of Auckland last weekend for the first time since being in NZ!! I was taken to a gorgeous place called Hahei (see www.hahei.co.nz for some amazing views!) by my 'cousin', his fiancee and her family. Was really nice to get out of the city and especially to a place as pretty as this! We also got amazing weather for the weekend, although I did get horribly sunburnt!! (And yes I was wearing sun cream!)

The next exciting thing is that me loving my job so much seems to have paid off - I've been given an extra role as part of my work and I get paid a wee bit more for it! I am however quite gutted that Phantom of the Opera has finished now - it's a great show and I was quite enjoying looking up at the guy who played Raoul every night - he was pretty!! :)

I now have my flights booked to Australia! So I will actually be able to write a blog from somewhere other than Auckland! Going out there in January for a couple of weeks, then who knows - although I will be back to Auckland end of February to go to a wedding then back to work at the edge when it starts getting busy again!

Ok, time for a coffee just now me thinks - need to wake up!!! xx
