I survived my first bar shift at work! Woop! Is very strange though spending more time setting up and clearing up the bar than actually serving people but hey the 20 mins of interval is a crazy crazy time!! Bring on the ushering shifts...

Am going on another free day trip round Auckland tomorrow! Been on one already with one company so am using the other company tomorrow!! What can I say? I'm a cheapskate! You can take the girl outta Aberdeen but you can't take Aberdeen out the girl!! There is actually method to the madness (apart from getting something for nothing!), and that is that I've decided to go on a bus trip exploring up north for a few days in a couple of weeks time and I'm not sure which of the 2 companies to go with so I figured if I did both day trips it would help me decide which I liked better!

So after the trip tomorrow (where I get to walk underneath the harbour bridge again - this is pretty high up and you get attached to the metal railings of the bridge as you climb up it on way to the bungy jump station where people in the group get the chance to throw themselves off the bridge -no thanks!!!!) I will be able to put more photos up! Woop!

Also this week I went to a rehearsal of the Auckland Choral Society which was hard work but so good! Took me a while to find the rehearsal venue as it is in a suburb that I'd never been before but I got there and will definitely be going back! The scary thing is, I have to audition to actually be in the choir! But I'll give it a shot anyway!!
