Okay to clear one thing up the Santa Rosa was a saint, so it is sort of like a holiday. But the huge storm generally comes the day of Santa Rosa and lasts for about a week. And it did actually start to pour Sunday night. It wont rain here for months, but then when it does it pours for hours. I love rain, so I don't mind the excuse to stay in and try to read hp in spanish. It has been nice to have a little break from the heat and humidity before it comes back for good.
I was running at the river the other day and I saw this homeless guys with a really beaten up suitcase and mate in hand. I don't know why, but it made me laugh. As long as you have your mate here you are good to go.
I went to my second museum today called Museo Nacional de Arte Decorativo. It was exhibiting the poems of Le Corbusier. He was a french artist. The pages of his book were spread through the exhibit. His book of poems is a mix of eclectic drawings and his poetry. I have never seen anything like it. I couldn't understand any of his poetry because it was all in French, so I need to read through the pamphlet of translations.
I really don't understand the government system here. I try to understand by asking Carlos, but I still don't. It seems like they don't have any rules ha. And apparently nobody even really likes there female president. Who knows.
So here is what I have concluded with Carlos. You can live in the US and strive to work and live a life with more wealth. Or you can live in Argentina, where work is less important and live an average life with less wealth. Who do you think is happier? Which would you choose?
