I finally did my laundry today. The first time in almost two months. That's a little gross. They don't have laundromats here, only places where you take your laundry and pay people to do it for you. You pick it up later and it's all folded. How nifty. Except I like laundromats. I've oddly enough had some of my best conversations and thinking sessions in laundromats.
As I was walking to the lavadero with Carlos, I realized how many cafes and bars were right down the street from me. I can't believe I've never explored my neighborhood. I have been so caught up with going into the city that I have forgotten to take a look around me. I am now excited to test out the restaurants and cafes near here.
I watched an interesting movie tonight. I think it was called The Last Kiss. It was good, but almost depressing. The main character (the guy from scrubs idk his name) is with his girlfriend who is pregnant. They are so in love, but then he gets scared and sleeps with Rachel Bilson (who wouldn't) Then of course he regrets it and wants his girlfriend to take him back. How do you ever trust anyone? And how do you forgive someone and then begin to trust them after they do something like that. Hmm anyways just makes you think.
