This morning was just a standard morning of making beds, making breakfast and looking after the children. However this afternoon I was going whale watching and I was very excited! When the mum came home we quickly had lunch which was a soup with lots of rice it was amazing and one of my favourite dishes here! We then had omelette full of kale as healthy as ever and made our way to Tarifa. The family volunteered to go to the beach and wait for me while I do the tour. Whilst I was on the boat I felt proud that I could understand the instructions in Spanish and turns down the English version because I understood everything! At first the tour was extremely boring and I wondered if these 2 hours would be the same, however before I knew it we caught a glimpse of the second biggest whale in the world the Fin Whale. A half hour later, the captain said he was making a call to Pilot Whales which are similar to dolphins but in fact whales. It was incredible, around 20 of these whales came up close to the boat and swam around and splashed. What made it better is that everyone on the boat had to be quiet so the moment was incredible and made the full trip worth it. 45 mins to go I started to feel sea sick and all I can explain it was being on a never ending spinny rollercoaster so I decided to go downstairs on the boat, I then found that their was a visionary room to see the whales under water which was a good distraction for 15 minutes, we finally made our way back to the dock and it was the longest half hour of my life, I couldn't wait to be back on land! At night we had salad for breakfast and headed straight to bed!
