Today we had another early riser at 8 o'clock to make our way to Cadiz. The mother has family there and often says it is the nicest place in the world. We got our bags ready and organised for going back to Casares and got on our way at 9 o'clock. We stopped at a service station for breakfast and I had total de ja vu as it reminded me of last year in America as it was so similar and I could not stop looking around as I felt like I was back in America again! I bought the family breakfast as I feel I owed them something for their generosity, it was only €8 however they still appreciated it. We had bread with a chorizo spread which apparently is very fattening but it tasted amazing! The coffee was so strong and it has hit me big time so the rest of the car journey will be fun! We arrived and made our way to a line to enter the Tall Ship Boat display, it was incredible we walked around discovering different ships as well as the marines! We met one of the dads cousins who was hilarious and took photos of us as a family. We then made our way where we had tapas and beers. We had salad, olives, mozzarella sticks, chicken (which tasted like pakora, amazing) followed by some egg and fish mix which was actually nice. We then went a walk around the city where I found out why everyone said Cadiz is so beautiful. We seen cathedrals, squares, beautiful streets and the beach. Later we made our way to a nearby beach called Sancti Pedre which apparently has the best sunset, however due to the clouds it would be impossible to see the sunset so we went back to Algeciras to get our bags and head home. Turned out even though it was cloudy we all got very sunburnt! We got home around half 10, had a shower and chilled everyone was tired so we had no trouble with anyone getting to sleep.
