The weather wasn't cooling down so it was time to swim & relax by a pool. Therme Rjezerčice houses 5 pools, 2 outdoors and the others under cover. We (Sanja, Josipa, John & I) headed off shortly after breakfast.

This place was not too far from the Oro Gora pizza restaurant, so the area was quite familiar. Once inside, we settled down in a shady spot with 5 lounge chairs (1 for Matija) when he arrived after work to join us.

We swam outside first and then inside where the large pool was the coolest of the lot. The water was clean and fresh & appeared to be only slightly chlorinated. We swam until we were all wrinkly and almost cold. A rest on the lounge warmed us up so we headed off again to cool off.

Matija phoned to let us know that his boss needed him to stay at work as one of the other chefs was ill & couldn't get into work. Needless to say he like most employed Croatians are often treated this way & worse of all are very poorly paid.

Home for dinner & a long night chatting & drinking & enjoying Josip & his family's company.
