A quiet day again - we had lunch at Biserka's & friends from Koprivnica who dropped in.

In the afternoon we walked up the hill to visit Dad's sister, Jelka. She didn't know that we had arrived & we ended up surprising her immensely. Her husband died last year and like Aunty Mare she was also renovating her house. It seems like that the thing widows do - get their home in order.

After a few drinks & some tasty home-made treats & meeting more of the family we headed off to check out the renovations, the veggie patches, the wine cellar & drove down to their vineyards & the Klete (a small brick home/shed that is used to store bits & pieces as well as food) for when they work on the vines around the property. These days the Klete is often used by the teenagers to entertain their friends, play cards & drink without making a mess or too much noise at home.

A relaxing afternoon was topped off with an evening walk down the hill back to Biserka's.

Valentina was home with Florijan, the 10 month old who is truly a bundle of joy & quite clever as he already knows us & eagerly points to each of us in turn when asked by mum "Where is teta?, Where is tetak?

Teta & Tetak is aunty & uncle.
