Yet another incredible day! Went off to Alcatraz today. It's bloody cold on The Rock so take a jacket! It doesn't feel like a tourist attraction. It still feels like a prison even though a lot of walls are missing. There is an audio tour as you walk through the cells with ex guards talking about their time there, including the escape attempt where three men have still not been found and the riot that needed marines to come and help! We missed our boat so had to get the next one. A lot of the tourists had gone so we were alone in the cells. One of the creepiest things ever!
