2 of the best days for me, sunday and monday. Sunday we walked from our hotel along Lombard Street to find the famous winding road. The walk up is a workout and after American sized breakfasts, its torture!! The view when you get to the top is worth the dying legs though. You can see a lot of San Francisco from both sides of the hill and the road is amazing too!
This was followed by a trip to Golden Gate Park. Bigger than the map shows! Beautiful views though and a lot of wildlife to see. Had to get a cab to the other side though to see the Bison. I love a walk but it would have taken all day!
Monday began with the Golden Gate Bridge. 2 of us were man enough to walk the full length across and back! The views of the San Francisco skyline are amazing first thing in the morning. The cables wobbling in the wind does freak you out a little bit though. Went up to Coit tower next. Dedicated to the fireman of San Fran. It has a 360° view of the whole city, from Alcatraz to the financial district. On a clear day you can see everything!
