Hey guys!! Well today as many of you may know was the World Cup quarter final game between Argentina and Germany. Soccer is SUCH a big deal here that class was canceled during the game...we all just went to the cafeteria to watch it. Needless to say it was pretty freaking intense!! I mean way out of control!!! For those of you who didn't watch the game I will quickly recap. Basically Argentina scored first...then with only about 20 minutes left in the game Germany scored. It went into 2 over times...without anyone scoring which then led to a shoot out where as I learned today each team gets five chances to kick with the goalie. Argentina made the first, Germany made their first....Argentina missed, Germany scored....Argentina made it, Germany made it....at this point the streets are deserted....its like a ghost town here and the tension inside is so thick you could cut it with a knife....THEN....Argetina kicks...and.......misses....SAD TIMES!!! We all sat there for 2 hours ready for them to win the game and the entire city to explode with craziness...but in one second they lost and it was complete silence...But on a funnier note...there is one German kid studying at the school and well we ere just waiting for him to literally be killed because he was running around the school with his German flag on his back...which here where soccer is LIFE....is about as stupid as an American running through the streets of Bahgdad with an American flag on his back. LOL!!! During this game I found out there is something wrong with my camera!! Yea...not excited about that one...right now it is working ok but lets just keep our fingers crossed that there wont be any more problems...oh and because of this Im not sure if I will be able to get any pictures up until Sun or Mon! Sorry guys Yesterday I took my clothes to be washed...yes I know this sounds retarded and you probably couldn't care less but its really quite interesting how they do it here...you take them to a lavarap and basically they wash, dry, iron and fold them for you and if you want they will deliver them to your house! CRAZINESS....Im just praying they didnt loose anything...or give me someone else's underwear!! HAHAHA Tonight we are going to a Tango class! I am soooo excited about this...but I just really hope I get paired up with someone who can dance! God knows I will not work well with someone whos retarded on their feet! But its gonna be really kewl. AND..... In the morning we are going to Iguazu Falls!!! After that I will have tons of pictures hopefully that I can put up here so you can all see!
