We arrived in Delhi yesterday and stayed at the Ivory Palace Hotel, a very average, but clean establishment which in the end made for a terribly romantic first night due to its rooftop 'restaurant' where we sat at the lone table surrounded by water tanks and pipes, but lit up with fairy-lights and lanterns and talked of the huge adventures that lay before us. Later, a stroll around Channa Market, with its overcrowded streets, blowing horns and pickpocket persiste...
