Every kid needs and iPad for Christmas.
After a long sleep yesterday we eventually rose and went down to watch Rise of the Apes in our chill out area. It had become one of our favourite places to just sit and chat to other fellow travellers, share past experiences and make new friends. It's funny how much you can find out about someone in just one conversation, everyone becomes more open and friendly where as back home people are generally harder to approach. We could be on a busy bus going through Thailand and by the end of the journey everyone would know each others names and where they came from, compare that with travelling on the London Underground or your local bus!
After the film we went for dinner in a restaurant near the beach. The manager explained to us that there was only one cook so the service may be slow. We didn't mind though, we were in no rush and I would get a chance to do some blogging. Well that didn't happen lol. The managers young daughter caught me on the IPad and slowly edged her way closer to us. Her curious eyes peeped over the table at it, so I let her sit with me and play a few games. She quickly picked up what to do and it wasn't long before she was pushing my hand back so she could have full control lol. She cried when our dinner came and she had to leave and sulked when we said goodbye on our way out of the restaurant. She will probably ask for an iPad now for Christmas!
I'm not feeling very well this evening, I think I may have over done it in the sun earlier when I went snorkelling. I've left Chris in the chill out area to settle the bill with Bella. We've booked our ferry and bus ticket for tomorrow going to Phuket, it's going to be a very long journey and we have to be up at 5am! I just hope I feel better by morning :-/
