A perfect sunset.
We have just watched a stunning sunset from Haad Yao beach. The tide is out and the suns reflection created a glistening shine against the calm sea. I can only describe the sky like a beautiful painting, like someone had purposely placed the pink clouds there. Then just as the sun touched the horizon and began to sneak behind an island, a typical Thai boat sailed into place to complete the perfect picture. Even after the sun had completely disappeared we were left with a show of colours from pink and red to purple, green and blue. Then slap on the arm! The mozzies came out and the show was over. We quickly made our way back to our room to put repellent on.
We don't really have much else to say about today. We didn't wake up until 2pm. Oh, I went back to the room earlier for a quick nap. I still felt a little delicate from last nights drinking. When I woke up I realised the power was out. Chris came up to the room shortly after and told me that the electrical mains right next to the chill out area had caught fire! He said it was quite funny as no one was panicking or doing anything to stop it. Bella the manager just carried on laughing and said no worries in her cheery way. They watched it burn its self out and unlike England it was fixed within an hour and the power was back on.
We're going to the full moon party tomorrow. We both can't wait! Neither of us know what to expect. I think it will be similar to a festival and rave but we will see. So early night for us now, we want to be up early so we can enjoy a few hours tanning on the beach, then maybe have a nap in the afternoon.
