We seem to have got into a routine now where I stay in bed and Chris gets up in the morning to run the engine to warm the van up, make me a hot water bottle to cuddle and make us both a hot drink, only when we stay in a place with no power though. This morning we got up at 6am and jeez it was bloody cold! You would of thought we were used to it by now but we're not. I would have stayed in bed longer but Chris wouldn't let me. We had some brekky and left the picnic site by 7am.

The drive to Nelson took three and a half hours, we stopped at another picnic spot a little later to make a cup of tea to drive with then finally we arrived in Nelson. Our fridge and cupboards were almost empty so we went shopping to fill them back up, we ended up spending $164! Chris has got into a habit of buying boxes of muesli or other breakfast bars for 'snacks' but he gets through them so quickly like he's scared someone is going to take them away from him!

After shopping we found Tahuna Beach Holiday Park. We booked two nights there then spent the rest of the day and night sorting out some washing and catching up on our diary. There is a huge trampoline on site which we wanted to go on but adults aren't allowed to use it! It's really not fair and so far I haven't seen any kids go on it!

We spent the rest of the afternoon and evening reading and watching tv, there isn't anything to do here so it's a good chance for me to catch up on our diary in the next couple of days.
