Well my time in Sydney draws to a close with mixed feelings. Obviously its about time I leave the city and get out there and explore this vast island. But there is a lot of sadness also, for this city has been my home now for five months. Sydney has lived up to its reputation as a fantastic city and would recommend it to anyone.

I only just realised I have not done a blog since new year oops so sorry about that. In that time I had another birthday - do we have to celebrate them still? My time has mainly been working for the hostel and generally partying quite often with the many new groups that pass through on a week to week basis. Oh my god when I leave my job, I will have to start paying for drinks when I go out!!! I still dont know the price of a schooner!

I have been really lucky to have some friends who have stayed here as long as me, but really lucky with the many people who have passed through and stayed for a few weeks. The current group have been a great deal of fun and really hope to keep in touch with many of them.

As usual I have been slack making my plans but as things look March looks like being an awesome month, I suppose I do deserve a holiday though right?

I will blog once I leave the city which will surely mean I will have some stories to tell and some interesting photos instead of all the usual drunk photos!
