G'Day sports - how ya goin?

Its been a while i know, I understand judging by the comments made in emails. sorry guys not been upto much lately. Still in Sydney working for the hostel which is great fun meeting all the new guys and helping to entertain them. All good. I am trying to put as many dollars away as possible at moment so that i can leave here at the end of January after Australia day. Time to get out there and explore.

Christmas is fast approaching which is really strange here. Sunday we went to Coogee beach for the day and went to a cool beer garden over looking the sea. I actually stopped when leaving as my mind was completely confused. Here i am looking at the sea, wearing shorts, baking hot, and yet I can see Christmas decorations! Whats that all about. I guess its the same for all us poms over here at this time of year. Saw an awesome decoration the other day of Santa Claus being pulled along by a great white shark with a red nose on! I chuckled for a while.

Did go to watch Syndey fc play Queensland Fury last weekend just to watch the legend that is Robbie Fowler play which was cool. Also went to the twighlight cinema in Centennial Park. There i was outside on my bean bag bed, bottle of beer, crisps, then the announcement came on that due to adverse weather conditions its been postponed. Gutted!!!

So what about Christmas. Strange not decorating a tree thats for sure. Xmas eve i am planning to go for a meal with a group of friends which should be a lot of fun. Xmas day well it has to be bondi doesnt it - recipe for disaster but the opportunity to make it on GMTV back home as well!!!
