¡Hola! .. we're in san isidro again, first time accessing the world in about two weeks!! homestays are going great.. this past week me and lissie started painting the school and the roof construction is underway!! o yeaaaah .. we finished the whole outside of the school and one wall on the inside and are going to start with the murals after this weekend. its gorgeous .. i love the color!! which is awesome because my limbs are almost the exact same shade of smurf blue. funny thing about oil based paint.. water doesnt make it come off but its all good at least its a pretty color.. and it really brings out the blue in my eyes haha.. but yeah its going great. We had a dance in the next town over that a couple of the other girls in the group live in .. which was really fun! we pretty much danced the night away and it was awesome (except for a few sketch guys but hey we were having way too much fun dancing together to notice much) ended the night with a beaaaaaaaaautiful walk back up the mountain with two of the other girls in the group that would normally be kind of scary but it was a full moon and it lit up the whole mountainside. it really is amazing here. Speaking of amazing views i walked up the other mountain with my little brother and my new surrogate brother, this boy ariel who just moved here from nicaragua who my mom watches alot cause his family is like an incredible amount of poor .. ill share more on him later but him and his younger brother are at my house all the time and im pretty much making them honorary brothers as well (which makes them #s 8 and 9 !) , to try to see the ocean again. It was really cloudy at the top so i couldnt see it but it was really fun.. i taught wando what the word Karma means ( there is no costa rican equivalent ?) cause he was trying to kill birds with his slingshot the whole way .. and then he continued to go for it haha.. i tried. I got some great pics.. and me lissie and Samantha (our director) went up on horses to see the ocean another day but it was cloudy then too!! i am determined to see it again before i leave (which is in almost 2 weeks!!) its crazy.. i hae a whole list of things i need to do ..

One thing im about to scratch off though is climbing Chirripo!! We leave for Chirripo tomorrow.. Its the highest peak in Costa Rica and yes im going to conquer it .. which my huge ass backpack full of stuff i probably dont "need" but i need.. haha we're going to climb it friday (usually takes between 5 and 10 hours) and then sleep the night at the top and climb to little lagunas and stuff while up there.. then we are climbing down the next day and if we get back soon enough (and i plan on running down in order to be) we are going to hot springs at the bottom!! soooo excited.. scared cause its gonna be pretty damn hard and its supposed to be really cold at the top but excited too... im a bit of a masochist with the endurance pain thing so im sure im gonna love this .. just hoping its not toooooo cold at the top, body isnt adjusted to that after being here so long. After that im not sure.. wherever the wind takes us (im sure theres probably some sort of plan actually i just dont listen well) and then back to our homestays!!

Homestay is going good.. spanish is sooo much easier now .. i still get confused but its crazy i can actually communicate now and like im making relationships that are more than just ¿como esta? .. its pretty great.. the family is good too and of course i have two more brothers now who i loveeeee.. the one had his birthday and i gave him a hermonica .. haha he liked it though i let him pick what he wanted from that a jump rope or a slinky and i swear ive heard him playing it at least once in the house .. haha o god but yeah its going really well. We even had some really nice warm rainless days which was awesome.. which were then followed by torrential downpours the next two days but hey its rainy season that happens.. the only thing was all the rain makes our water turn brown.. which means no showers, no water to cook, clean, or drink for some time.. and occasionaly no ability to use the toilet (when the water gets completely turned off) .. not a fan of that one.. i can do the whole dirty water thing it kinda sucks but its part of life here.. i get that. The inability to use a toilet in the whole town .. not cool haha but today its working out cause that just happened this morning, and now im in san isidro so not an issue for me today =) .. just praying its better when i get home. haha but yeah love the mom and my kids and my brothers and everyone thats been helping us with our project!! all is going well, its definitly going to be hard to leave.

Well im going to go get some dinner cause im hungrryyy (usually eat around 5 here!!) .. quite a far cry from the 8 o'clockers at home .. im not sure which i like better. adios i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee everyonee .. less than a month till i see you all again! les extraño muchisimo!!

PS i got to ride a moto today!!!! so much fun .. kinda really scary but fun stuff. everyone has um here and i can definitly see why .. ok bye again love you

PSS no panthers yet, but my mamita keeps warning me about tigers on chirripo ?! that could almost be better... one can only hope
