Can't wait to hear that you are back safe and sound from your trek up the huge mountain! As your mother, I"m a tad bit wigged out about the tigers! Can't wait to hear about your incredible climb up Chirripo. I found the following blog that describes it...

It sound like you are having lots of fun. I am so jealous of you. Here in the city it is raining cat and dogs and maybe even elephants. Lets just say it is not fun. Your adventures sound really fun and interesting and I'm glad that you are enjoying yourself. Here is the city is it just lots of papers and lots of work. BTY I really miss our weekly group gatherings at Halo Pub. there are no good ice cream places in the city.

I saw Grandpop today, he was heading into Philly to get his back looked at by a surgeon. He kept asking about you, he said that the website wasn't giving him your most recent articles, so I set him up with the new ones and sent him an e-mail explaining how to navigate the website. And I love that you are learning how to cook me yummy foods. :-D

Hey babe. Sounds like a roller coaster down there. Glad you're making the best of it. I went home the other weekend and saw the family and Sean. Struck me that the house isn't the same without you. I don't think I'll be home again until you get back. Makes me miss you too much. Katy says Hi, and hopes everything with your friends works out fine.

And like Kelly I'm jealous of the monkeys. But don't get too close to any panthers. Panthers don't equal kittens. Of course if you see panther kittens and don't take pictures I'll never forgive you.
