umm yeahh... i totally skipped reading your entire journal entry cause i accidently scrolled down and saw that you saw monkeys!!!!!!!! i am TOTE jealous like you have no idea.. and if you see a panther... mannnnn... i'm soo jealous like whoa.. plus i support jess's its freezing here.. like cold like you could only imagine.. and they didnt turn on the heat yet :/ its crazy but i cant wait to see you!!!! love you much!! have lotsss of funn and theres lots to catch up on when you get home!!!!! <3333

cassidy!! i miss you so much. im home in hamilton right now and im saddened that your not here with me. i cant wait til your home and i miss you. it sounds like you are having a great time and im soo happy for you. i dont know if id be able to do it for that long especially in a language that would remind me of gavalas 24/7. villanova is a ton of work .. seriously the library is my dorm room. i still hate my roommate til no ends. but i finally have a week off and it came at like the perfect time. it sounds like your having a great time and im jealous that ive never done anyhting like this before although who knows if id survive. well best of luck ,and be safe.

No salt? Are you kidding - dinner with no salt? I figured it was going to take you a 12 step (maybe even a 15 step) program for you to give up salt! You must be dying, shaking, and twitching! I'll steal some in those little packets from Wendy's and mail them to you as soon as I can get to the post office. Spiders, darkness, rain - even cold showers - - I could see you surviving - but no salt? - this calls for Mom intervention! Oh - and by the way - great blog! We love you and miss you very, very much! Cass! Everything sounds awesome! I wish I was as adept as you are at Spanish now.. apparently I have to be fluent by the time I graduate if I'm interested in a degree in International Affairs.. yippee.. Anyway, I'm glad everyone is so accomodating; we miss you lots.

I think about you in the jungle surviving off the land sometimes; don't ask, its just one of those crazy things I think about.. you know. I'm glad the kids are as ambitious as you are when it comes to learning a new language too! It sounds very interesting and I feel like Lissie is a person we should all meet when you two get back... just a hunch. I hope all is well; I'll keep checking to see how much more fun you're having.. it really makes me feel great about the hours I spend in the library.
