hey everyone!! today is the last day of my orientation so i wont have access to a computer again until next weekend!! tomorrow i leave for my village to begin teaching. im SOOOOOOOOO scared, but excited. i got paired with this awesome girl lissie in my village who i just love, so that should be good. today i spent all day searching for school supplies and presents for my family. i got a really cute watch too (mom youd be proud it has prisms and everything) for 6000 colones (like 12 US dollars) .. ok so wanta here about my family !?! i have a mom and dad, but the dad lives in the US and sends money back to the family. I also have 2 brothers!!! that puts me up to 7?! haha but yeah their names are Brian whos 18 and Wando whos 14!! im so exciteed to meet them. my community is the smallest one out of all the interns and my school has only 11 students! TOTAL! i can't wait to meet them either. me and lissie are really excited. her family own a pulperia (corner store) and she lives on the other side of the school from me... and the best part is i have a HOT shower!!! so happy about that.. not alot of people do but me and lissie lucked out. im upset to be leaving all of the other girls and henry though. we all got really close in just a week, but ill be back to san isidro this weekend with them so that is comforting! i definitly wont be sleeping tonight htough. o and another thing my town is called Santa Fe!! haha anyone who knows me and the movie the newsies knows how awesome that is.. but yeah i still miss everyone but i really love it here. sorry if i havent been calling the damn phone cards hardly ever work, and people here like camp outside public phones so its kind of hard. my community has a phone that i can use but im probably going to be crazy busy this week trying to figure out what im doing with my life!! i really can't wait though. i hope everyone is doing well!!!
