hey everyone!! okay so had the last week in the homestay.. it was soooooooo good to be home!! and awesome that its actually home now  .. we just taught and hung out and did a lot of stuff in the community. Ahh i learned how to make tortillas from scratch!! like grinding the maiz and all .. the president of our community's wife is awesome and loves me and lissie so she invited us over to her house and we learned how to do the tortillas ( even though hers were like amazing and ours probably could have been construed as a million other things than a circular little tortilla.) and then we got to eat them at dinner there!! awesome.. and she wants to teach us to make tostadas too.  We also made empanadas and tortilla chips with our group leader sam.. im gonna come home and cook up a storm now .. you shall all enjoy a feast of costa rican food (with smiley face tortilla chips!! .. o yes i did) . Im having a ton of fun w. my family too .. even joking around with my brothers and stuff now.. its like im actually part of the family which is awesome, like i can actually converse with them about like politics and stuff now.  Its still hard but im getting there.. Today we have a party at my girl Maggies house for her bday and this other girl Emilys ... and we're getting dressed up in halloween costumes!!! im SO excited.. really gonna be awesome . We cant celebrate it really in our community cause its kind of considered a pagan/evil thing which kinda sucks but hey we got this weekend and im going to enjoy it .. and me and lissie are buying candy to eat together on tuesday night!! haha love it. 

We also are getting started with our secondary projects this week.  We finally bought all of our materials for the techo (roof) and they got transported back to our community yesterday so we should start this week!! YAY ... and yeah that shouldnt take that long which is awesome so we can see it completed.  We also want to get started on our worldmap this week (mural on side of the school) so thats exciting!! We are spending the next couple weeks in only Santa Fe so that should give alot of time to get things done.  Were hoping to do the world map and another mural the kids can help on .. cant wait theyre so adorable theyll love it.  We also are thinking about a kind of back to school night at the end of the program that would like showcase everything weve done with the kids !! i dont kno just an idea... but its exciting.

So yeah these next couple weeks should be fun .. hopefully the rain lets up a little (we had a bit of a temporal for the last week).  My mamita says it should be better this week which is cool so we can do more outside.. Lissie and me might go to her families farm and get that whole farm cow milking horse riding experience .. and i wanta work in the cafetal.. and there is a big dance in the town next to me next weekend that we're going to which is gonna be alot of fun .. and i wanta ride my brothers moto! haha lot to be excited about now.. everyone who was sick is in perfect health now too which is AWESOME so yeah all is going well!!
