Today was an... interesting day in class... In my Great Actors class we are about to start studying Jodie Foster so my teacher had us watch Silence of the Lambs. Needless to say, I spent the rest of the day in a state of terror and caustiosly peeking around every corner. Although it was a fantastic movie, it will be a while before i watch it again (if I ever do). In my following class, post war italian cinema, we watched the most depressing italian movie ever made. It is called Umberto D., and it is about an old poor man and his little dog and how they do not have enough money to survive. The old man is sick and does not have enough to feed he and his dog, and basically the movie just continues to become more depressing as it goes along. so I spent the day going between being terrified and depressed. Both great films, but wow... all in one day is pretty heavy. Maybe tonight would be a good night to get gelato hahah!
