The Italians only eat three things... just three. The first two are obvious, I am sure you can guess them, But the last was quite a surpise to me.
Thats right. Nutella. I dont think they know about penut butter or real chocolate, I guess the rest of the world never told them. It is a change of pace from my usual peanut butter craving, but still very yummy.
The buses here go on stike one day out of every month, they warn the people in advance, and they still run in the morning and evening so the Italians can get to and from work. Basically the only people this really affects are the students and the elderly community. Sorry bus drivers, but the impact of the strike is not being made.
Driving/Parking here is probably the funniest and with out a doubt scariest thing I have ever seen! the cars will NOT stop for you if you get in there way, just honk like crazed geese. The people park where ever they possibly can, it is quite likely that if you park your car here (which will be a smart car) when you come back people will be parked next to you on both sides, behind you, and in front of you. Also, they park on the side walks and they park perpendicular to the side walks in parelle parking spots... what is that!?
Never a dull moment in Rome!
