Today was a good and bad day.
We decided to go down into the Old town to grab some food and ended up at a sea front small restaurant called Apsara, it was lovely and quiet but right on the sea.
All i really remember is having the best chocolate sundae, it was awesome and James had a Vanilla milkshake.
We were sat there for a while just enjoying the view when all of a sudden i got attached by a bug before i knew it i swung my head and goodbye beautiful pink raybans, they were in the SEA!
I literally couldn't believe it! It didn't really hit me exactly what had happened until a couple minutes after and then i felt really sad :-(
James had a good idea though to ask the waiter when the tide went out, we asked and explained the situation and he said he would keep an eye out for them when the tied went out and if he saw them he would go down and get them for me. Amazing!
But i really wasn't keeping my hopes up because i very much doubted they would still be there.
Anyway in the evening James surprised me and took me to a place called Koala bar, which was a little restaurant on the beach and really nice. Especially because i'd been going on all week about how much i was craving a pizza and they did the best pizza!
However i did have a feeling i was being eaten my mosquitos which came true the following morning when i was in so much pain!
I wanted to go to another bar after we'd eaten but James really wanted to make the 1/2 moped trip down to the old town to see if the waiter had found my glasses, so off we went.
And low and behold he had actually found them! I was about to cry i was so happy and so surprised i really didn't think they would be there. I offered him some money just to say thanks and he declined several times, what a nice guy!!
Feeling very happy we headed back up to the centre and went to one of the bars i wanted to go to, 'Rasta Baby' it was cool and chilled and ran by Jamaicans and i'm pretty sure everyone in there was high… So we only really had one drink then left to the last bar which was a little Volkswagen van converted into a bar on the side of the road. It was called Funny Bar, so he had a couple here then headed back.
Still so happy about the outcome of the day!
