Early start this morning after such a big night proved painful, and challenging. We are off to Lucerne in Switzerland, it is a 7hr coach ride, so we have a long day ahead of us - joy! But the scenery is beautiful and we have plenty of stops to get food and fresh air.

The town of Lucerne is beautiful & architecturally stunning - here we see the famous wooden chapel bridge which connects part of city - it was built in the 1300's and is still up & running. As well as the stone lion monument - which is as it sounds, a huge lion carved into a stone wall to commemorate all the lost soldiers.

We have dinner late & for me, it is an early night & a chance to catch up on emails. Oh, & by the way, our hotel is an old Jail - eek.
