Day 6 - Lucerne Bright & early we head up to Mt Pilatus, which sits amoung the huge Alps. We catch a gondola or aerial cable car up the 2132m rock face, with stunning views of the rugged mountain range, lakes and fields of alpine flowers - I even spot a cow or two. We catch the train down, which is the world's steepest cogwheel railway with a 48% gradient. It is a beautiful ride back down the mountain, and we are off to see how they make Swiss army ...

Early start this morning after such a big night proved painful, and challenging. We are off to Lucerne in Switzerland, it is a 7hr coach ride, so we have a long day ahead of us - joy! But the scenery is beautiful and we have plenty of stops to get food and fresh air.
