Well, it's late an robin is asleep, so I won't use my keyboard. I'll make this short.
A glorious hill climbing, rainy day that ended in nice sunshine. What more to say? My last major ride of my trip. I didn't have to wash my shorts and jersey today. One more day of sunscreen. I need to finish this book to put back into the van.
I rode with Mary in the morning- but she did not want to stop at mile 45 for he last services. I'm glad I did! Coffee during the rainstorm- good cheese, and a really nice guy all excitedly telling me about my ride on blue ridge road. :)
I stopped at a SUNY adirondack ecology center. Went in, explored 5 or 6 rooms (including bathroom) encountered no one! I read a few posters, one about how the salamanders make more eggs when the vernal pools are deeper. One about how the 5-year edges of newly-cut forest have more species diversity than regular forest, but that the 15-year edges do not.
I thought about my lesson from the sodus point fiasco. I think my feelings about Womantours response will make me better in responding to others complaints about my own actions.
I thought about this tour, and that I've really liked getting to know these people, an have learned a lot.
This experience has been good for me. In many ways.
Nice end to the day- my heels touched the ground in downward dog!!!
