today we went to Rangitata. It's somewhere in the middle of nowhere ;-) We just arrived in the late afternoon and relaxed in the sunshine for a while. In the evening we cooked a nice spaghetti bolognese together and spent our last evening together.

today we went to naseby. there we were playing curling. nice experience, but not so easy! we spend the night in a historic hotel. the carpet seemed also to be historic ;-) naseby is what one calls a one horse town... it looks like western town.

we spent the night on a boat at the doubtful sound (something similar to a fjord). as we arrived yesterday it was raining vey badly and it didn't look like it would end. but as we were always lucky with the weather, the sun came out and we had a very nice afternoon. at 6pm we went kayaking in the sound. it was really nice in the sunshine, but the sandflies and the moskitos somehow didn't recognize that we used insect repellent... there were thousands of them! we ...

today i had a canyoning trip. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! :-)we did ziplining, slides, abseiling, swimming etc. the water had only 5 gedree! it was amazingly cold ;-) fortunately we had wesuits, but the hands, the feet and the face were freezing as hell ;-)now my creditcard doesn't want to give me any more money ;-) i'll try tomorrow...

on sunday we arrived in Queenstown. in the evening we had a pizza-all-you-can-eat-dinner at the world bar :-) that was great! they served cocktails in tea pots. that was a nice idea, but actually completely stupid ;-) afterwards we went to the Altitude bar. Helen read in her travelguide, that they are doing dwarf throwing there, but maybe there weren't any dwarfs in town... ;-) so they did some stupid teenager games. but he got a nice 2-for-1 discount, because we...
