Well for the next few days we checked out the area- found an internet cafe and the local banks and tried to sort out our accommodation for the rest of our stay in Rio. Boring stuff really but we had a laugh anyway. At the internet cafe we discovered that nishs´chip reader didnt work so we couldnt upload photos- obviously we sorted that out now! So today we got up REAL early as we had a pickup for a tour at 7.45. We were also changing hotels so needed to chek out and into new place before the coach arrived! We were ready about 15 minutes early and patiently waited outside for our pickup. We waited for almost an hour before we remembered we had a contact number for the tour! Ok so like we said we woke up real early so that we could go on an all day tour to the Sugar Loaf and Corcavado (Christ statue) We also has stop offs at the football stadium and a funky cathedral (see pics) Lunch was included- and Anika was HAPPY with it!! They gave many varieties of meat-as much as you want... of course nish was veggie that day so she had some salad and wierd kiwi with saucy stuff!
