So still in Iguazu and its our final day. Our coach was due to leave at 5.45 but we both wanted to see the brazilian side of the falls before we left. So we took three buses across the brazilian border. By the time we got there we realised we only had about an hour before we needed to get back again! So the 11th-12th we spent travelling to Iguazu from Buenos Aires on a 20 HOUR coach journey. The journey wasn´t bad at all- watched films, slept etc. very comfy seats that recline back fully. So we woke up REALLY late today (the film was long last night!) We sat on the internet and booked accommodation for when we return from our Iguazu trip. We befriended a guy called Kyle at our hostel and he suggested we joined him and some others for dinner that evening. We readily accepted as we were keen to see the Palmero posh area. So we woke up at a reasonable hour (noon...ooops...) and quickly got ready and headed out to see the sights. Managed to see the Obliesco (which we wern´t impressed with..) The Casa de Rosa, Cathedral etc and then made our way to Recolecta to see the famous cemetry. It turned out to be a boiling hot day and a depressing one looking at all the different graves. So today is anika´s birthday and our final day in Rio!!! We spent hours on the internet trying to find accommodation for the next day in Buenos Aires- bit last minute we know, but adds to the excitement? We then did our laundry... yes you read it right... our laundry- Anika knows how to celebrate in style! We roamed the streets in the sun and FINALLY got to try the Twix Mcflurry!
