Got off the sleeper train in Chaing Mai, slightly more adventurous than expected, when d*** had to do a quick dash from his bed for a number 2 and found a girl bleeding from the head knocked out on the floor after falling from her top bunk! Jumped on a minibus to Pai, such a chilled scene full of hippies, we found a lovely bamboo hut to stay beside the river, hired a Honda c90 out to explore the mountains. So far we have visited waterfalls, hot springs, and been bare back elephant riding in the river. Can only describe it as riding a bucking bronco whilst drowning and amy flashing her knickers to a Thai man every seven seconds! I don't know who had more fun the elephant or us! Having so much fun we are going to stay for a few more days. Over and out D & V xx
