After breakfast we were meeting a local guide in the Kremlin, but the guide was about an hour late so whilst we were waiting we made snowmen, snowballs and had some fun in the snow. Eventually the guide came and took us through the cathedral, palace and then onto the Museum of Wooden Structures. We then went back to the main centre and had some lunch before getting our bus to Moscow.
We caught cabs back to Vladimir and waited at the bus stop for the bus to Moscow. There were a lot of people also wanting to go back to Moscow so we had to fight to get seats. I ended up getting a window seat and had a Russian man sit next to me. After about 4 hours on the bus we were finally in Moscow, there was a bit of confusion on the bus when these Russian guys wanted the bus to stop but when it did they didn't get off so the bus driver kept going and wouldn't stop where these guys actually wanted to stop, then when he finally did these guys kicked the door of the bus. Not knowing what was going on until our trip leader told us we had a bit of a chuckle.
We finally arrived out our stop after our own confusion as to where we were supposed to get off and then we caught the metro to our accommodation, which was an apartment. After a couple of changes and getting stuck in the doors of the train we made to our stop and met the lady whose apartment we were staying in. It was a short walk from the station, which was good, but there was slush everywhere as the snow had started to melt.
Arriving at the apartment we checked in and this time I was sharing with Tina and then went out and got some dinner as it was now late. There was a café just down the road so we went in and got a feed. After dinner we caught the metro to the Red Square. The Red Square was all lit up and had Xmas decorations everywhere. There was also an ice rink in the middle and there were a lot of people skating.
After taking a few pics we got back on the metro and went back to the apartment and called it a night.
