HOLIDAY DAY!!! hehe...
Today it was the day that we got to go to a beach called Assateague Island and sunbathe and swim about, body board...it's been great!!
Although i did get a little red and burnt - even though i put sun lotion on (well okay it was factor 15...) but it's going nice and brown as is the rest of me!
The beach was quite steep down to the water and so the waves were HUGE!! To the extent that myself and others included got completely swept off our feet and tumbled around in the surf getting showered in sand! nice...
I did a load of body boarding today, it was sooo fun! Joe and I got quite good at it in the end! Sooo wish we could go back but it's back on the boat and in the labn tomorrow....
After the beach we went to a few museum/visitor centres, saw a live sea horse and horseshoe crab. I bought a bookmark, a DIY photoprocessing thing which you in the sunlight and water, and i bought a gold necklace with butterflies on! It's really beautiful! After all that we went to The Island Creamery which is a place that does soo many different flavour ice creams and different combinations! Myself, Loretta, Will and Joe challenged ourselves to eat the Round Up! Its a big bowl of 5 BIG scoops of ice cream, 3 toppings, whipped cream and cherries! It was huge! Loretta didnt finish her's but therest of us did! Because we did they take a photo of you and put it on their website - it'll be up soon! (Google Island Creamery)
This evening we are eating mexican, and then having a bit of a piss up/drinking game night - which with all of us hot and dehydrated, it should become very interesting!
